The career paths that I chose prior to selling real estate provide me with valuable professional skills and work experience which benefits my clients today. After graduating from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree, I moved to Houston to work as a sales executive in the computer software industry. The experience I gained marketing, selling and negotiating with executives in Fortune 500 companies (in an ever-changing industry) provided me with a strong business foundation. My next step was to become a business owner. I founded and managed a niche, service-based company in Houston, Texas called Fleabusters. I established this business by marketing my services to all of the veterinarians that practiced in the 4 counties surrounding the Houston area. Over the 14 years that I owned this business, it grew to be a "Top 25" pest control business with 30+ employees. This experience further honed my organizational, personnel management, negotiation, marketing and sales skills. During a work sabbatical, I moved with my husband of 20+ years and teenage children to Northwest Austin. After settling in and learning the Central Texas area, it was time to do what I do best - establish a business where I provide excellent customer service to people with a need! I've now lived in Austin 6+ years and established a proven track record for successfully assisting buyers and sellers as they make transitions with real estate.
